There are many different degrees of this type of breeding, such as a close line breeding. Close breeding lines are often used to describe the game as uncle and niece, two half brothers and sisters, or grandfather and grandson. The purpose of this type of farming is ultimately to make the breed stronger, like a Dutch Shepherd, this is done using a single ancestor as a "pivot point". This means that each generation is planned to use the genetic advantages that a Dutch shepherd ancestor. grower will keep the dogs by combining in a way to eliminate weaknesses through the generations. Breeders aim is to maximize and build on the strength of the Dutch shepherd ancestor. Many species line breed, of course, but many do not because of the limited number of available friends.
together with other kinds of farming, there are advantages and disadvantages of the breeding line. The advantage is that the breeder usually knows what will be achieved as a result of this kind of cultivation. Line breeding is the most common form of breeding used by hobby breeders. This is because it allows them to learn the strengths and weaknesses of dogs do s. For example, it allows them to know what kinds of physical and temperamental characteristics will be present in each litter. Overall it gives growers a chance to set the desired characteristics. There are several drawbacks to this type of breeding, however. One being that it is likely that some features could be placed in a line you do not want. These undesirable traits are then usually very difficult to lose. Also, due to the fact that farmers working in a small gene pool, they risk losing the hybrid force. Hybrid vigor is when the offspring is born with a stronger, healthier characteristics. For example may be born with a much stronger build and temperament of their parents. No question of breeding lines can be beneficial and risky, but as always it is the farmers decide on what they are willing to take chances when breeding dogs.
