DNA and Diet Evolution
00.46 // 0 komentar // the writer // Category: diet evolution , herbal diet , metabolism regulation diet , organic produce , primal diet //DNA. dynamic and powerful molecules carry in almost every cell of our bodies. It is a trillion copies. Our genes determine how our body works and responds to environmental signals. DNA evolves at a slow rate, much slower than our habits for sure. It may take many generations for a new feature to appear and establish itself in the population. DNA mutates, it changes and it's all part of his nature, it is expected and it is natural. But people change even faster. We are massively change our environment, our habits and our diet in the last 100 years. Our body does not get a chance to adjust to all these changes. Basically the way our food is processed the same as many thousands of years. For our genes, and bodily functions nothing has changed really. The problem is that processed foods we consume are completely unfamiliar with our DNA. All these "new", refined carbohydrates and sugars cause a lot of confusion to our cells. Our ancient genes to try to handle our modern diet. It is very difficult. Imagine trying to communicate with someone who speaks a completely different language from you. Our genes are routinely subjected to "genetically unknown" foods and they react abnormally, that cause inflammation or activate obesity genes.
is the solution to provide our bodies with foods that recognize and can easily process. We have to make our diet more in line with our genetic requirements. Obviously we are not going back to Neanderthal times, but I think for a second which could include food. Mostly we talk about loads of raw salads and fruits without chemical treatment. That would translate it as organic produce in our day. Also, the meat that our ancestors ate was definitely free range. Factory meat and fish are just a phenomenon of the past 50 years certainly. Studies have shown that the meat factory has 500% more saturated fat than the equivalent of free range. Also farm raised salmon is a stunning ratio of Omega 6 and 3 fats than 30:1. It is much omega 6 in relation to the minuscule amounts of omega-3 we take in. Keep in mind that omega-6 in such huge quantities considered highly toxic and inflammatory in the body. Wild salmon on the other hand has a normal ratio of 03:01 over the fat which is what, of course, fish are raised and what exactly corresponds to the human body too. Mostly animal feeding them an unnatural power to store abnormal types and amounts of nutrients in their bodies. In some ways, these animals are sick, and we inherit their disease to eat them.
The bottom line is that a natural diet can help our genes respond in a very controlled way. Organic fruit and Vegše and free range or wild meats and fish are more healthy combination of nutrients and are also very rich in minerals and vitamins. It is a massive importance to incorporate as many of these dietary guidelines into our lives as we can. You will, of course, lose weight, forget about the mood swings, headaches, and to build an impenetrable health in the long run. Your genes depends on good nutrition.
